At the end of 2019, it was Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Launched. The low price, great design, and cameras surprised us, and we ended up being one of us The best phones Of the year. But despite our hopes, it was not there Xiaomi Mi Note 11 In 2021 – so what happened?
Well, we will assume that the phone has been canceled, or at least has been significantly delayed from the expected release date at the end of the year that were rumored.
We have tried to contact Xiaomi regarding this issue, but have not received a comment from the company yet. There was no certainty that the Mi Note 11 was coming out, as there was no Mi Note 9 in 2018, but many tech enthusiasts appreciate the Mi Note 10’s impressive value for money.
How did the Xiaomi Mi Note 11 not come when we expected it? Well, it’s possible that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is selling poorly, or that Covid-19 made production a challenge, but we think it was something else – it likely looks like another phone has replaced the Mi Note 11.
Xiaomi has had a busy 2020 year, launching new phones from left, right and center. So has one of these new devices completely replaced the Xiaomi Mi Note line? We believe that these three phones played a role in preventing Xiaomi Mi Note 10 from seeing a successor.
Xiaomi Mi 11
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 came four months before the launch of the edition Wed 10, Xiaomi’s flagship series of 2020. This means that the Note has time to stand by and attract potential buyers before launching the next series of phones.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 It launched on December 28, much earlier than the February launch many originally expected. Xiaomi might have thought that the early release was too close to the November release, the Mi Note 11 was expected to be available, and thus canceled the latest line.
After all, the rumors of the Xiaomi Mi 11 release date began long ago – few had bought the Mi Note 11 knowing that the Mi 11 would come soon, as most of them should be waiting for the flagship if its launch is too soon.
Maybe we’ll see Xiaomi Mi Note 11 come later? It might land in February when the Mi 11 was expected to launch, but we’re not holding our breath.
Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro
The Xiaomi Poco F2 ProLaunched in mid-2020, it was a completely different phone to the Mi Note 10, but it was going along exactly the same kind of selling point – the mid-range ‘flagship killer’.
Like the Mi Note 10, the Poco F2 Pro was priced lower but the device-like specs are more premium. Sure, those high specs were different – Mi Note 10 had a great design and cameras, while the Poco F2 Pro was heavier in terms of performance, but they were still in competition.
Xiaomi may have seen the Poco F2 Pro a great competitor to the Mi Note 11 to make the latter absolutely worth throwing away. If true then that would be a shame – as we said, they were different enough – and we imagine most phone enthusiasts prefer one over the other.
Xiaomi Mi 10T phone
As with the Poco F2 Pro, the Xiaomi Mi 10T series aims at the same mid-range market as the Xiaomi Mi Note series – this is Xiaomi’s main line-up, after all. Unlike Poco, though, this phone, which was launched in September 2020, has a name that some buyers could confuse with the Mi Note 10.
For both of these reasons, Xiaomi probably thought that the Mi 10T line would compete with a new Mi Note phone, and decided to cancel Mi Note 11. Sure, it’s a different number from the Mi 10T, but given how disliked phone fans are. Can be confused with all Android phone names, there is still a risk for some buyers.
It is very likely that the presence of three Mi 10T phones means that Xiaomi simply cannot make any other devices either – it only released a couple of months before we expected Mi Note 11, and given Covid-19, some tech companies have had manufacturing problems.
The Xiaomi Mi 10T series was a good add-on for Mi Note 11, but it wasn’t entirely convincing. Although it is unlikely, we cross our fingers and hope that the Mi Note 11 will be delayed, not canceled.
